This Shariah-compliant takaful rider provides an allowance to your employees or their loved ones, when any one of the covered members passes away.

No one knows when an accident or illness will strike. While we can’t predict the future, we can always plan for the unexpected.

With Compassionate Allowance, you can provide immediate help to your employees and their loved ones by looking out for their welfare in times of need.

Should your employee pass away, this takaful rider will pay a lump sum allowance to his or her family. On the other hand, if an unfortunate event leads to your employee losing his or her spouse or child, this rider will provide RM1,000 or RM500 allowance respectively.

Features and coverage

Protection Features

A lump sum amount is payable in the event of death of your employee.
RM1,000 will be payable upon death of spouse (limited to 1 spouse only).
RM500 will be payable upon death of child (up to 3 children).

Eligibility Age

Group@Work:
Employee and Spouse: 16 to 69 years old.
Employee’s children: 14 days to 19 years old or 23 years old (if studying full-time).

SME@Work:
Employee and Spouse: 16 to 65 years old, renewal up to 69 years old.
Employee’s children: 14 days to 19 years old or 23 years old.

Expiry Age

Employee and Spouse:
Yearly renewable coverage up to 70 years old.

Employee’s children:
Yearly renewable coverage up to 24 years old.
